P5. Pirates, the sea and animals
P5 Hello everybody ! These weeks we had fun with the topics: pirates, the sea ,animals and we have just begun with the topic : magic. Pictures will come (sorry, There is a problem uploading them to the blogger.)
We did different games....and sang songs..... and played the pirategame,,,rolling the dice......3 find the treasure.....5 find the boat ...than children had to find the picture hidden in the classroom and throw the ball to the imatge.

Are swimming in the sea
Jumping in the waves
Feeling free.
As well we sang the song; Magic hat , magic hat
What is inside the magic hat?
Abracadabraaaaa.......: Magic !!! One by one the children got an animal out of the magic hat; a mouse...a shark..a bird....a frog ...a dog...a rabbit...a pig
we played the game mouse and cat.... : the mice eat the cheese .....but the cat likes to eat the yellow mouse . So the child with the yellow mouse has to pull the tail to not be catched by the cat.
And we played more games...just to give an impression.....till we show the pictures.

Classroom objects through a game: Label the classroom
Hello!
We have been enjoying learning more about our classroom and its objects. Label the classroom is a game which consists of writing several classroom objects on post-its and then stick them all around the room (on the wrong objects). The pupils, moving around the class as a team, have had to move the labels and stick them to the correct objects.
Doing it very fast and learning up to new twelve words!

Hello!
We have been learning sports vocabulary choosing the appropriate verb to talk about it: play, go and do. We have done it in a fun way, through images and games. We have played a game called "Beat the keeper". A fun and entertaining way to learn more about sports in English!

We have started to make our own pencil case in English. To learn the main vocabulary related to the classroom and the objects which we work with: pencil, pen, ruler, glue and scissors. Everyone has chosen the colours to make his and her pencil case as nice as they can. We have got a lot of work colouring, cutting and more and more.

Singing Songs
Welcome back families! To begin the scholar year some of the P5 grups started
with music and funny songs! It is a really enjoyable way of learning.
We have been singing two english children songs “The Insy Winsy
spider” and “The five little monkeys”. By the way we practice some
animal, number and colour vocabulary! Also we played with playdough,
making monkeys and ‘several things’ and we made a lovely yarn spider.

The little pinky rat performs for P4 & P5

Last Thursday, the little pinky rat performed for some of our P4 and P5 students. As a great dancer that she is, she enjoyed with Barika's accordion songs.

Curs 2016-2017
Benvolgudes famílies,
Estem a punt de començar un nou curs i us adjuntem els grups i horaris per l'extraescolar d'anglès d'aquest any. Tal com varem explicar en la reunió informativa d'ahir, i degut a les moltes darreres inscripcions, hem hagut de refer els grups i els horaris. També hem engegat un procés de selecció per contractar un nou professor/a. Temporalment, i fins que aquest no finalitzi,per alguns grups, alguns dies el Jordi farà les classes i d'altres haurem d'ajuntar-los.

P4: scuba diving goggles!
Hello!
Last week a P4 gloup worked on some scuba diving goggles to be able to swim under the see and look at all the animals we already know: crabs, sharks, dolphins, jellyfish...

4th grade: paper plane competition
Hello families!
This Friday the 17th some 4th grade students had a paper plane competition! First, we built a plane and decorated it with the colour we had chosen, and then we went to plaça Clarà to do the competition.

There were four rounds with different challenges and we had lots of fun (despite some plane malfunctions)! :)
4th grade: the Gruffalo

On Wednesday the 15th some 4th graders had a big event: we performed in front of all P3, P4 and P5 boys and girls. Our play was "The Gruffalo", based on the book we had previously read.
Some of ous got a bit nervous but at the end we did a fantastic job! Well done, boys!

On Friday some 3rd graders performed for a group of boys and girls of 3rd grade and P5.
They did very well and the public had a fantastic time!

A very exciting day for P5: a trip to pl. Clarà and theater!
This Friday P5 had a very full session: first we went outside to play in plaça Clarà and later we went to the English classroom, where some 3rd graders performed a play for us and other 3rd grade students!

P5: Silhouettes and clothes
Hello!
This past week, some of our P5 students drew their outlines and then decided what they were going to wear: t-shirts, trousers, belts and dresses of every colour, and the girls even had some crowns!! Well done, boys and girls!
