P5 Pirates and princesses and a treasure !!!!

Hello everybody !  P5 received a special letter from pirate Jhon who lost his parrot.  As well they found a treasure !!!  Where is the treasure ????? aaaahhh There is the treasure !Then all the children were looking for more things for the treasure...jewels...and shining stars......
As well we were learning a song We are the pirates ...the pirates of the ocean ...we are the pirates young and free !!

P4 Looking for feathers..

With P4 we made a parrot with real feathers. Monday we went to the plaza Carmen to find more feathers. We found small baby  feathers and big feathers....and green...purple...red yellow  pink  white and blue feathers !!

Second grade's circus show....

Hello  ,Some weeks ago we prepared a circus show. It was real fun ! We could see  acrobats...strong men....clowns and a liontamer .

3rd Circuit

The circuit project continues. We are still improving the constructions, the stability, the best way to do it, which materials are better. Here a photo of our work last class.

THE CLASSROOM - MAKING A PENCIL CASE - 1st B and D

Two weeks ago, we did a series of activities related to the classroom. One of them consisted of making a pencil case. Doing so they learnt words like: rubber, pencil, sharpener, glue and scissors, as well as, reminded the name of the main colours.

Where do plants grow? - An activity with 3rd A

Last week, we worked a topic called "Where do plants grow?". It was a series of worksheets to learn about plants and trees and where we can find them in nature.

There was two aims: on the one hand, to learn different kinds of plants and trees:from oak trees to cactus; on the other hand, to learn different kinds of landscapes: from ponds and gardens to deserts.

After having matched up each plant and each landscape, they coloured the works as they liked most.

MAKING A PIZZA AT SCHOOL - SESSION ONE: GOING SHOPPING ALL THAT WE NEED!

Hi,

This week the boys from 3rd C have made a pizza at school. The first session they learned the main and the most important words related to such activity and, after that, we went shopping all the ingredients at the supermarket. There we reminded such words in English and practised what to say when we are going shopping.

The second session was dedicated to prepare all the stuff needed (a very special thank to staff from the kitchen for their help and support at every moment!) and to make the pizzas, of course.

Yesterday,  we started the class watching a short video, which showed the steps for doing such activity, and after that, we went down to the kitchen to put our pizzas into the oven. Finally, we wrapped them so that the boys could take them at home,

P4 Knowing each other

There have past a few weeks since we started together. We have played this days with construtions and card games. We been telling stories and singing nice songs. Here two of them:

3rd Grade "Circuit Game"

Hello families and welcome. I am Selene, the new English teacher of your boys!

I will show you only a part of what we are working on. We are preparing a nice domino-constrution circuit. We have looked at some nice competition videos and everybody get excited about it. We have built some and recorded videos. But past class we decided to make a nice design of a possible circuit. Also, I brought some specials water-oil circuits, they love them!

Wait for our news, this is becoming a great construction project!!!

P5 February

Hello Families!! Here some of the activities we have done with P5 this past month.

- A winter tree! We went out to search some sticks and then we pasted them to made a nice tree!

- We also played with wood construtions, built houses, castles and towers. 

- Finally we met the "Matryoshka family " a lovely russian doll thats explains nice stories.

with 2nd grade we saw the film "Cloudy with a chance of meatballs"...

We had great time seeing the film and give us the chance of ask ourselves some very important questions...

What's your favourite food? What food will you like to make fall from the sky?

The answers were diverse and the list quite long... but broccoli, spinach or vegetable soup were not there...😀

Last week we celebrated carnival. We had fun while creating our own masks! Huge amounts of creativity and inspiration! Also lots of interestings chats and stories round the table,,,

1st graders. Clothes and Carnival

Hello,

after being creative and making some masks altogether, we are practicing now with clothes vocabulary. We do some writing and spelling, games with vocabulary.... and of course, it will come the moment to involve the body and put on and take off clothes!!

We did many activities ! They were in the carnival mood....so we painted faces and hands....we dressed ourselves up with costumes.

P5 Singing...dancing....running....creating......

Hello...P5 needs movement.....So we did a chair dance while singing...and running games like the crocodile game; pass the line as...a pirate....a princess....as a lion.....as a dog...as a monster....so the students have to pass the line without being catched by the catcher.
During the game they say:: Catch me  !!!    Catch me !!! while moving like the animal or person that the catcher is asking for.

As well we are learning the song ,  let's take a picture you and me  ....look at the camara and say cheese ( you tube) in this song they have to make a happy face..a sad face ...a funny face etc.

Last thursday we made bracelets....the students could choose a face like a pirate...a princess using their own fantasy...
We are getting in the carnival mood.

English's "Warm Up" for Carnival

The English Team wants to join in the great expectations that this week create in our kids... so for next Monday and Tuesday we have prepared a special carnival activity...

We can´t wait to start having fun!
