I5 celebrated Valentine's day!

 Last Tuesday was Valentine's day and with I5 we learned the meaning of "love", "heart", ... We enjoyed decorating a heart with colorful papers! We also wrote the names of the people we love the most. 

1st Grade / Carnival is Almost Here !

 1st grade had some FUN time playing  and practicing with Magic as we talked about Carnival activities that they will enjoy.

p4 Being animals

 Hi all,

After doing many activities like different crafts and games related to the body, the weather , numbers and   colours we came back to the topic animals. 

We played the game that the children have to cross the line being an animal . For example ; a cat , a dog , a cow, a frog , a crocodile, a monkey etc. And later on the children wanted to play  being  horses.

We always use English and the children repeat the English in a natural playing way .

I5 LEARNING THE WEATHER

 How's the weather today? 

We learned that days can be SUNNY, CLOUDY, RAINY, ... These days we practice singing songs, exploring the outside, looking through the window and playing a bingo! In two occasions we saw SNOW... So we designed our "Dream Rain Boots" to be prepared for everything!

I5 AND THE ALPHABET!

 We learned all the alphabet in english! We sang songs, we played different games and we completed the "alphabet caterpillar". Now we know our ABC's!

p5 Where do you live?

 Hi all! 

Today we went to the park.  We used the question  Where do you live ? And the students had to answerI live in Olot..Later we did a game ...The children had to hide some cards of familymembers and later take them back to their house for example ..an Indian to a teepee ....an Arab to a tent ..a Chinese to a Chinese house.  When the children found the right house they had to say This is my house  It was great!!

1st Grade Happy New Year!

 We have been so busy learning and reviewing all our New Vocabulary...through songs and games!

Before Christmas holidays we learned themes of Toys, Clothes, Body, Food, and  Numbers.

3rd grade Pizza Party!

 We learnt how to make and bake a pizza! We made a craft pizza with all the ingredients: dough, mushroom, tomato sauce, cheese, ... we worked as a great team!

4th graders Wishes for the new year .

 Hi all ,

Hope you had all a nice start in the new year!

With 4th graders we did an experiment using some words as a wish for the new year like; Health, Love  and Peace for 2023.

The experiment is called the magic flower.  The students wrote each a word on the magic flower that opened when it connected with water.

P5 The three kings

 Hi all, de 

With p5 we played being the three kings. .As we are going to talk about toys this week it was a nice way to sart. The children really liked being a king while other students came to receive a present.

 

We used sentences like;  We are going to the kings. I want a present.  I want a scooter, I want a ball, I want a doll . I want a bicycle, I want a bear.  Are you scared?  Are you good ? Are you bad ?

And we watched the video about toys ; What is it? , what is it? It's a ball   etc  Youtube

We had a lot of fun.

p4 Bye Bye 2022 Hello 2023

 Hi all !

Happy new year for all of you !!

Of course we did a lot of Christmas activities in 2022 with P4.  We did crafts, decorated a Christmastree , played games and did theatre being Santa and his reindeers.

And  for sure we are going to have a lot of fun in 2023 !!

4 th graders The fashion show

 Hi all ! a

The 4thgraders organised a real fashion show. Meanwhile we used adjectives as ; colourful, mysterious, elegant, funny ,cool. adorable and repeated vocabulary related with clothes.

 It was fun to dress up and even more fun to show the clothes on the catwalk.

P5 Dressing up

 Hi all..With p5 we did the topic clothes.

We played some games and dressed up with real clothes. It was fun!

RELAXING TIME IN P5!

Sometimes we are too much excited and we have difficulties to pay attention, so we need to get relaxed! 

We built a house and we layed there while we sang lullabies. 

We learned to calm down and then to start the class very concentrated. 

p4 Help ! An accident..... !

 Hi all!    

With P4 we played going with the bus to Barcelona! And ..ai..ai we had an accident!The children fell out of the bus..and said; my leg ..auw my leg is hurting..my hand is hurting. My head is  hurting  We also watched the video ; the wheels of the bus go round and round.                              We had a lot of fun!

5th graders Playing doctor

 Hi all  !

Playing  doctor is always fun. And while we are doing this we can learn a lot of English and vocabulary about the human body.

After  playing  the role play we  played different games ..labeling the bodyparts with post its and the game Simon said  ( touch your chin,eyebrow, wrist belly button, nostrill, ankle, neck,  thumb , heel,  chest  etc )

We used sentences like; What happened, My arm( leg) got broken, I cut my finger, I had an accident , 

It's hurting, I'm going to heal you.

P4 Indians love nature

 Hi all !  

With P4 we played being Indians. We painted our faces, made a headband and repeated actions like,, dance, sing, jump, run and sit down. 

We watched the video 10 little Indians on simple songs you tube and had a lot of fin!

Indias LOVE nature . So we found real leaves to use them for colouring  and made a tree out of  playdough. We had a lot of fun!!!

Some sentences we used: Touch the tree,find a leave jump 5 times,  run very fast, count till 10, I want a red feather, put the bird on your head( shoulder,foot, back, nose etc)  role the dice.

P5 The weather and the magic cloud.

 Hi all,

With P5 we started the topic weather.  We coloured the different types of weather;  sunny, cloudy, stormy, rainy , windy and snowy.  . We played a game , acting out the  weather with different movements.

 This week we saw 5 minuts of the movie ;  Cloudy and a chance of meatballs. 

In this movie there is raining food,  ( hamburgers, sausages etc) from a magic cloud. 

 We used the movie for inspiration and made a magic cloud and we coloured the food that is coming out of this cloud    

The students really liked it !
