After the carnival project we started with the Circus project. We had a lot of fun performing like different Circus artists ( a clown, an acrobat, a magician, a lion tamer ) we used sentences like ; Welcome in the Circus ! The acrobats from China... Put the plate on the stick and put it through the ring .
Very difficult !!! The lion jumps through the ring. It was fun !!!
Carnival is a beautiful time for dressing up , playing games and doing theatre.
We played a game with different hats of typical persons as : a captain. a prince, a chef , a policeman, a witch
We asked Who are you ???? Are you a police man ???? etc etc.
The students liked it !!!
2022 is year of the Tiger, as Febuary 1st started the Chinese New Year.
We have been working on a new Unit /Animals.
We are making lots of Art, learning lots of songs, and playing lots of games.

One day, we even had a visit by an extinct animal.. a dinosaur, a mighy T-Rex!
The students has fun playing with the dinosaur and they even invented a fun jumping game together!

constructed their own snowmen!

1st graders have finally finished their books showing work from the 1st trimester.
They really worked hard, and took pride in the final product.
Some pages are incomplete as confinements complicated many days...
but the students are encouraged to finish at home!

Students used many cardboards to create a variety of parking garages, bridges, race tracks, and their favorite...Ramps!
We used a stamp printing stamping technique to add car tracks, and personalise their pieces.
Students created their own heart magnets to give to someone special for Valentines day.
They worked real hard and put lots of Love into it!!

With the second graders we did various activities. organised a restaurant, did a craft around Valentine's day and worked on the features of animals ( Has it got ....(a tail, teeth , wings, claws, scales, fur ) ?
Last week we played a game using the question ; Have you got...?.The students had to guess, ask the question and collect three items of a person.( for example .the mermaid's tail, the robot's head, the indian`s trousers, de girl's legs etc) . After the game the students made their own game to take it home.
Vocabulary: I'm hungry, I'm thirtsy, cup.plate, fork , spoon , eat , drink
Pancakes are delicious !! With the secondgraders we did a game to learn how to make pancakes .
We used the following vocabulary:Flour, milk, egg , butter, pan , pancake,,
Put some flour, Put an egg, etc. And ¨Throw the pancake¨. The students really like to throw the pancake (Fake) in the air and try to get it back in the pan.
With the secondgraders we were working on the topic house !
We played several games and were designing a house.
Vocabulary; The shower is in the bathroom ,The table is in the livingroom , the cooker is in the kitchen, The bed is in the bedroom. (etc ( bed, bath, lamp, television, fridge, wardrobe)

1st grade has done so much work these days before the Holidays!
We have been studying higher numbers, school supplies, clothes, food, parts of body, and rooms /objects in the House. We are also completing a book that will include all our work for the course.
Before Christmas we had Unit on Toys, and each student had option to create a *Doll or a *Ball in Cup from recycled materials. This gave us opportunity to reinforce all the vocabulary from clothes, school supplies, and parts of the body.
I hope you had a fantastic new start in 2022. We are having the classes mostly oudside.
We are working on the topic transport. We moved like planes, cars, trains, lorries, boats and bicycles.
There were some transport flashcards hidden in Plaza Clara and we painted a picture about. transport.
