P4 Thanksgiving project

At the end of November your children have come home with a colorful turkey this was because we have have celebrated Thanksgiving together, this is one of the most popular and important holidays in the United States and Canada and is always celebrated on the last Thursday of November.

It is a day that families gather around the table (and the turkey) to give thanks for all the good things we have in our lives, but in our case we wanted our turkey, (symbol of thanks given) to be alive, happy, and full of colors and gratitude.

We have been talking about how grateful we are for our home, our family, our toys, and how lucky we are to be able to play with them.
We have drawn our house, we have colored, we have used the glue.  We have also worked on shapes and colors.

In any case, it is worth remembering that it is not necessary to have a special day dedicated to it.  Every day we can thank all the good we have.

I hope you have enjoyed it.
Have a great day full of gratitude!
With love,
Denise
