2nd graders I'm going to bring......a towel, a torch

 Hi all !

With the second graders we did many activities last weeks.   

The main sentences we used  were;  

I'm going to the  beach  ( mountain, forest, desert. ) and I'm going to bring  ( some money, a towel,, a torch, some water, a sandwich, a jumper, a toothbrush, a camara. some soap. umbrella.

We worked on this vocabulary by playing games and  painting 

We are working on the following poem as well.

THIS IS BIG , VERY TALL

THIS TINY REALLLY SMALL 

THIS IS SHORT AND THIS IS LONG 

NOW I'M WEAK AND NOW I'M STRONG

THIS IS HIGH AND THIS IS LOW

THIS IS FAT AND THIS IS SLOW

THIS IS NAUGHTY AND THIS IS RUDE

THIS IS COOL AND THIS IS CUTE

We are having  a lot of fun !  Last week we started the topic  cultures and used the sentences ; Where do you come from.   I come from  China; Alaska, Canada , India, Spain, Hawai,  Mexico, The desert.

I live in a tent, ( normal house, a teepee, a tree house. an igloo.
