 This was a fun activity that really got the blood flowing.

Students had to move around obstacles on the screen, all in English of course! 

Making fortune tellers to play with irregular plurals. 1 Man/2 men etc.

P5 It’s Autumn

Hello families!  We have been doing very cool activities and we are excited to share them with you.

The funniest thing was enjoying Halloween, by songs and stories and crafts.

P4 Keep on learning !!

Hi all !!!

We keep on learning with P4  . Every class we start  moving the body in a game and use English in every  action.

 Last week we used bread dough to make different objects  for examplke a big ball, 3 small balls, a long sausage.  As wel we made a boy or a girl with playdough ( plastecine) 

As we had some new students we repeated the body , colours and actions in games like ;  Sit down, take one chair away, throw it, give it please. And we  used the song 

5 Little monkeys jumping on the bed  ( you tube ) for a chairdance .

The students love it !!!

2nd graders in the hospital

 Hi all! 

We worked on the topic ; In the hospital. 

We played games and did theatre using the sentences;  What's the matter? I got my leg ( arm ,finger,shoulder) broken. What happened? I had a car accident..I had a bicycle accident. My leg ( head, finger arm, )s hurting.

More vocabulary; blood,tape,wound.pain,bandage,

3rd graders and our special pizza!

 With 3rd graders we "baked" our special pizza with all of the ingredients: tomato sauce, mushrooms, cheese, pepperoni, red and green pepper, ...

 

P5 and parts of the body

 With P5 we were working the parts of the body. We danced with each part: wriggling our WAIST, jumping with 1 FOOT, waving our ARMS, nodding our HEAD, ...

Halloweenie! 1st Grade

 Students continued emotional monsters to make a scary scenario emphasising Halloween vocabulary such as bats, witch, spider, ghost, black cat, candy. 

3rd graders: Our school material

We were preparing our school bag with different material and was so fun!

P4 Cooking a magic soup

 Hi all  !!

With P4 we went to plaza Clara to cook a magic soup.

 We made a magic wand and found leafs, chestnuts, and flowers to put in the soup.

We sang the song : We are cooking , cooking a magic soup.

Of course we were in the Halloween mood .  We made a pumpkin mask, painted a witch and sang and danced with the song  Go away scary monster go away !!

2nd graders in the Halloween mood

 Hi all,

With the second graders we are slowly getting into the Halloween mood.  We are playing games , doing crafts and  are singing and dancing.

Vocabulary we used:  who took the candy from the trick and treat bag ?  Was it the vampire (  bat, pumpkin,ghost spider , skeleton,  monster ?.

Where is the diamond ?  It's under the skeleton, ( pumpkin etc)

and we watched the video Spooky Spooky ( you tube).

1st graders Welcome Back!!

These first weeks back 1st graders are reviewing the emotions, colors, numbers 1-50, and the vocabulary\"s of  various school supplies. We have been practicing songs, playing games , and doing lots of Art!

P5 Starting a new course Greetings, colors, feelings and weather

Hello families, 

I hope you are ready and excited to see the progress of your little ones, we have a lot to things to share since our first classes and we are going to delivery through the course, and  keep and mind first classes are always to establish about class rules but we have also been able to learn.  

Topics like introducing yourself, saying hello, start a conversation asking how old are you? Do you want to play? and also doing the routines by asking about the weather and emotions, explaining how do we feel.

Another topic was Parts of the body.  We have also worked with animals, colors, fruits and soon I will be informing you about the autumn activities.

P4 Playing with animals

 Hi all ! Lat weeks we worked on the topic  animals.  

We listened to the story of the taste of the moon   , we painted animals and we moved like different animals.

Vocabulary : animals, dog , cat  bird, frog , monkey giraffe, mouse , elephant,zebra, turtle

                       sentences: put the animal on your head, put  it  on your foot  etc, put it on your back.

                        throw it in the sky, catch it. put it under your shirt.

Jump on the back.  You can't get me !

With P5 we are working on colors

 Hello families,

For the last days we've been working on colors while creating our own rainbows. Have a look at the picture!

2nd graders I'm going to bring......a towel, a torch

 Hi all !

With the second graders we did many activities last weeks.   

The main sentences we used  were;  

I'm going to the  beach  ( mountain, forest, desert. ) and I'm going to bring  ( some money, a towel,, a torch, some water, a sandwich, a jumper, a toothbrush, a camara. some soap. umbrella.

We worked on this vocabulary by playing games and  painting 

We are working on the following poem as well.

We are having  a lot of fun !  Last week we started the topic  cultures and used the sentences ; Where do you come from.   I come from  China; Alaska, Canada , India, Spain, Hawai,  Mexico, The desert.

I live in a tent, ( normal house, a teepee, a tree house. an igloo.

P4 Moving and playing

 Hello everybody !

I'm very happy to be with P4.

Last weeks we did many activities.  We moved our bodies , played several games  and made a beautiful fish.

Vocabulary: Body: head eye, nose mouth  foot , hand, back belly shoulder

                     Colours: black , green , white, red, blue, yellow , sentence  I want the red  etc

                     Action, stand up, sit down, fly, run, come 

                     Sentences;  Where is the rabbit,  The shark is in the sea. What's your name ?

                      How are you ?  good ?    Bad ?   My name is.....

                      

                       

                                          

We had a lot of fun !!!

P5 - Stick Puppets / End of Course

P5 finished the last classes of the course reviewing many of the topics/vocabulary we have explored ... including parts of the body, clothes, and our emotions. We incorporated these concepts into creating puppets in many cases, they turned into 3D self -portraits . 🤣 The students had their own spectacular and played various scenarios out.
