1B group - News from november
Hello families!
How are you?
Here I am updating the highlights from november.
At first we went out to get some fresh air and exercise vital street vocabulary:
Pay attention!
It's green, go ahead!
It's red, wait!
We go together! Please don't run!
We go to the playground!
Once we were there we played a version of parchis, the traditional game challenged by english questions.
"Our story time" I am hurt was about body parts and we learned new expressions like:
I am hurt !
My finger hurts, my leg hurts...
Touch your hand, touch your arm..
Where is your foot? Where is your nose?
We danced and had fun together listening to the body rap!
Our "grammar topic" was about prepositions of place. We constructed a preposition dice and together we helped the rabbit be in, on, next to, behind, in front and above the box.
We celebrated Thanksgiving and we finish the month so grateful for the family, friends, food, health and all the love that is surround us.

4A. A November full of words and stories to tell!
Hi, dear families:
I just want to inform you as briefly -as I am able to- about how classes are going on. The sessions, as I might have already told you before, have two main parts. The first one is focused on speaking skills throught fun activities of a varied nature. The second part is more specifically focused on a topic or area of interest meaningful to the children.
Thus in such first part we have been focused on two basic English skills: the alphabet and numbers. Since the beginning of the course we have pushed ourselves in being able to spell letters and in using numbers naturally.
We have also worked on two topics this month: parts of the body and school supplies.
I just told you we split the class in two parts, although actually they are partially connected when talking of vocabulary, because we tend to repeat the words again and again for several sessions.
I hope I have given you useful inforation about the classes and the children. I can only add that I am really proud of them for how much they try to be focused on the class, participating in a friendly and positive way.
We'll keep you informing soon!
Take care!
Bye!

1A. School supplies. A project in November
Hi, dear families:
After Halloween's special week a few weeks ago, we have started a new topic, named School supplies. It's a series of sessions closely connected with the material and the classoom, which both are the most common places where we do class.
In terms of vocabulary, we have learned a lot of new, and essential words, such as: book, notebook, pencil, pen, scissors, sharpener, rubber, glue... In doing so we have add the basic determiners like a, some, a pair of.
In terms of grammar, we have seen the expression I can. in combination with the vocabulary already mentioned.
Finally, we have used a certain video to introduce the sessions. We think it's good for you to know the link, in case you want to watch it again at home.
Here it is the link:

P5 / Halloween
P5-C After Halloween, it's time to start a new topic, animals!
Hi, again,
After celebrating Halloween, we have started a new topic at class: animals. We have seen some of the most common wild animals in the world: tigers, lions, elephants, zebras, giraffes, bears, wolfs, penguins, frogs and more and more. Not only did we discover how to say and spell, but we also played with such new words in different ways.
It would be beneficial to practice these words at home every now and then. I invite you to do so!
Jusr sending a big hug to all you children! You're great!
